Amyloidosis Ireland Conference 2022
Emerging from the Shadows
Ireland's first amyloidosis conference, bringing together clinicians, patients, families and advocates from across Ireland and beyond.
About the conference
A historic first for amyloidosis in Ireland
Our theme — Emerging from the Shadows — reflected the rising hope of new and emerging treatments for a previously untreatable condition. Our mission was to share awareness and information across the medical community and wider public.
The conference was international in scope, bringing together patients, consultants, surgeons, doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers.
Documentary
Emerging from the Shadows
Starring Daniel O’Donnell, conference speakers and Amyloidosis Ireland advocates, this short documentary was filmed at the conference to raise awareness and bring the community together.
